I am in the process of buying the ownership of an up and running café. Although I worked as a chef years ago and I'm pretty confident in serving up food meeting health and safety regulations I've never owned by own business.
I've been employed in a different sector by my father for over 15 years now and he sold his business thus making me redundant last July (no regrets there). I'm pretty up to speed in running a business, but not a catering one. My first port of duty is upgrading my health and safety certificates to a supervisory one.
Is there any advice anyone would give that maybe I haven't planned for or thought about.
Thank you
