Hi everyone,
I've just got a new setup, and I'm a complete newbie to this world. My goal is to achieve great-tasting, smooth coffee.
Current setup:
I've spent quite a bit on the setup and various extras: a bottomless portafilter, a mesh screen to go over the puck, a leveller, a spring-loaded tamper, and scales.
With the current settings and many other adjustments, from 18g of coffee, yielding about 36g in 22-25 seconds, but it's only producing 45ml of liquid from a double shot.
The beans I'm using are Lavazza Rossa, and I just can't seem to get it right. I know these beans aren't the best, but I should still be able to achieve something palatable. The espressos taste too sharp and sour.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Current setup:
- Smart Grinder Pro: inner burr set to 1, external setting set to 7 (setting that displays on the screen).
- Bambino (non-Plus version).
