Not that I'm an advocate for coffee snobbery, I think they should have used coffee snobs as the testers.

You mean me? lol... Or John. I think we tip the coffee snob scale pretty far. How about we do our own test. It would be difficult but I think this can be done. Anyone interested?

I don't mind they used "average" coffee drinkers. I don't even mind they used DD coffee. After all, that is what a lot of "average" coffee drinkers drink. I do think they should have used people somewhat experienced in each method to brew the coffee to give each system it's best shot. After all, that is what is being judged.
