Beans look like they have a defect

I bought a new 60 kg bag of Indo Sumatra. Beans look much different than previous batches from same importer.
Thoughts?

Wasn't aware that there are 'new' versions of coffee, bwahaha... seriously, with coffee being an agricultural product you can get the same type of the coffee from the same farm/region season after season and have some variation.

Nature's got its quirks, I guess.
I'm curious if the different look translates to any unique flavors or if it's all just cosmetic.
