Anyone Roasted on Coffee Crafters Machines?

Specifically, their Valenta series of fluid bed roasters? I am curious what anyone with experience on their equipment has to say about it. www.coffeecrafters.com.

If you have a Facebook log-in there is a Group called Fluid Bed Coffee Roasters Forum where you will find many owners. The first Valenta model has only been out about a year (the 7, now 8) but I have not heard a bad word spoken about it yet. I roast on an older Artisan series roaster (the 6m) and find the company to offer great customer service. Company owner/President Ken Lathrop is a member of the aforementioned FB group.

We have the Artisan 3-e which we are selling right now. We love it. Simple to use and the customer service has been very helpful. We’re going to private branding because we transitioning from roasters to coffee shop owners.

I use their Valenta 7 and love it. There was definitely a learning curve coming from an SF-25, mainly getting used to the lack of radiant heat without the big cast iron drum, but since adjusting I've learned to love the control afforded. Highly recommend!
