I have been urging to buy a travel coffee cup so I can take my coffee with me and sip on it without having to pour out a little cup each time either......
I am not sure what to really look for, I know I want one that can keep it warm for at least a couple hours or so and something that would not leak and would be easy to clean possibly would be good as well....It would be nice to be able to fit a big cup in there as well not just 12oz or so....

I keep coming across the "Contigo autoseal", but I cannot justify if that is really worth it since I am inexperienced with these...

I would appreciate any input or advice thanks!

Before you go rushing to get one you need to consider a few of the following;

Quality - do you prefer stainless steel, ceramic or plastic; each one serves a different purpose so you will need to check them all out.

Size of the travel coffee mug - are you using it for work or in your car, also you will need to know how much you can actually drink.

Car cup holder - find out what will fit in your car, there have been hundreds of people who have gone on and spent money on a travel coffee cup and realised that it won't fit in their car. Make sure you do your homework first.

Cost - you may want to get one that's the cheapest but that may not always be the best choice, check out what's on offer and see which will fit you perfectly. As once you find that one it will last you a very long time.

Thermos Stainless King is awesome. I got mine from Target and I think it was around $20. I'ts the best travel mug I've been able to find that can keep coffee hot for so many hours. A couple of weeks ago we went skiing and I filled my mug up before the montain opened at 9:00 a.m. well we skied all day and when I got back in the car after the mountain closed at around 4:00 p.m my coffee was still pretty hot. Easily still drinkable. If there is another travel mug better than this one than I would love to know about it. Like I said I've tried many travel mugs and the Thermos brand is the best I've found considering how long it holds temperature, size and it's spill proof.
