I just acquired a Royal No. 5 roaster and needed some insight on how to convert it from natural gas to propane. Any insights, experiences or technical info would be appreciated.

Looks like it is coming along nicely. What year is this one? I had one that was from 1896. Is that the original motor?

Hi Topher,
I believe it's 1912-1915 but I am not sure. There are so many variations of the machine and i have not found a way to decode the serial #. The motor is original and works but needs a good going through. It's a 1/4 hp, runs on 110 volt AC electricity @ 1725 rpm
