I will tell you this...its way to big. I will never roast on a machine over a sixty kilo again. You do not have as much control on a monster like that or even a 120 kilo...we will be buying 4 sixty kilos for our next facility...so dirtydave..you have an issue with the people who have spent their lives honing their skills roasting?
 
I have no issue with people who have honed their skills.
I too have honed my skills over the last 30 years.
I do have issues with manually controlled coffee roasting machines.
Control automation has progressed SO MUCH that I, personally, can't help but avail myself of these advantages.
If you choose not to, that's your business.
But if you have chosen not to, without exploring what can be done with these tools, then yes, I would have an "issue".
The issue would be that you would be dogmatic, not experienced.
I have roasted manually controlled machines from 1 lb to 100 kilos.
Give me the intelligently programmed automated roaster, please.
Simply my preference, but, one established through experience of both methods.
