That is what i thought too. The machine was serviced a few years ago. It looks clean inside. I can turn the burr with my fingers and it feels smooth. I have a motor coming and will pull it apart when i have the motor. Thanks for your input.

I haven't changed the beans i have been using. The burrs look super clean - i cleaned them with compressed air. I couldn't see to the bearings without disassembling the machine. I will do that soon and pull the motor out to examine it closely. Are the bearings part of the burr assembly or the...

The burrs look fine. It stops turning when the more than one or two beans are in the burrs.
