In the class I was told that my frothing technique was excellent, no problem there. They drew the espresso. What seems to happen every time when I pour is about the same:
Start higher and fill cup to about halfway (cup is tilted).
Begin faster pour from as close to the espresso as I can...
New to the game, bought some stencils to use with Cacao powder. The results are ok but could be better. I think part of the problem is I'm using a shaker, is there something that you could drag across the stencil that would deposit a uniform flow of powder?
