Here's my video version of this if you don't feel like reading (like I do sometimes)
What I feel like it boils down to is
1. Cost. You can, at least in America, buy one pretty much anywhere. What I like about it is that it creates competition and creates a lower cost. That and you can get...
Even though it's a store brand, it's probably my favorite store brand coffee I've ever had. Sure it doesn't have those wonderful flavors that freshly roasted beans have but it's quite a solid cup and the history of the company is quite neat, coming back from the 1800's! If you're interested in...
So lately, I decided I wanted to compare and contrast the two coffee makers, the French Press and the Aeropress. This was a toughie for me because I love both but for different reasons. I, however, came to a decision and made a video about it all here. Now which one do you like best and why?
I recently did a video of some of the history of coffee in Hawaii along with reviewing where Kona coffee, one of the largest types of coffee that can be found in Hawaii. I've never personally had Kona coffee but it sounds absolutely tasty and I even learned there's a Kona coffee festival!
Have...
So I just recently heard about Bulletproof coffee and was interested in it. It's a strange concoction of coffee, butter, and this thing called brain octane oil which is a coconut oil derivative. Me being medically inclined (I'm a nurse btw), I instantly thought, huh. Is this even good for you...
So I made this neat little video on steaming and frothing milk at home. From what I could gather, you want to heat your milk up to around 140 to 160 degrees fahrenheit. I showed a couple ways that this could be done. I still think the best way, without a steaming wand, would be to heat it up...
I was approached by a wonderful fella on youtube that wanted me to review some of his coffee 'All The Coffee In The World'. I decided, I haven't tried out a Kenya AA coffee and wanted to see what it was like. Needless to say, it was quite good. It had a nice earthy taste with a dark chocolate...
Being an American who loves history, making this video was an absolute blast. I learned about how coffee may have first gotten here to America by the Dutch West India Company, how coffee and the Revolutionary War are loosely tied together, the different ways to make coffee, and I also got to...
I do it as a bit of an overflow to my youtube channel. I get so many neat ideas and background info that I felt it would be great to let it flow onto paper so I can describe it a bit better. https://javacentralyt.blogspot.com/
I was inspired by a mexican coffee recipe called Cafe de Olla for this one. Now forewarning, it is very sweet so if you want to cut back on the brown sugar, it may not be bad to do so. Either way, I hope you enjoy it!
The stores were Kroger, Target, Walmart and Winn Dixie. I made them all the same way with a mugs worth of hot water, 2 Tablespoons of grounds, and an inverted brew in my aeropress.
After doing some research on coffee in Vietnam, I learned they make this interesting coffee where sweetened condensed milk and an egg yolk mixed with coffee and it turned out quite delicious. I made a little video on how to make it as well.
Have any of you tried it out?
I realized that I can make some really strong coffee with my french press, did a little digging around the internet, and I think I made some form of wanna be espresso!
Tried out this coffee today and it really was an eye opener to another culture of coffee. It's founded in Vietnam and learning a bit about how they make their coffee was really neat and an awesome learning experience. Hope you find my video about it just as neat as I did making it...
Hey everybody! I'm Jordan and, like the rest of you all, I love coffee. It started as a enjoyment of just really smelling to coffee to having a youtube channel about coffee called Java Central. I'm looking forward to sharing knowledge and the love of coffee with you all!
I run a youtube channel and was wondering what you all thought about me sharing some coffee reviews? I've done one on a starbucks brand of coffee but I have a bunch I've thought about doing in the near future, including a very tasty local brand.
In the midst of creating an amazing coffee youtube channel. Any ideas on some topics I may be able to discuss. So far I have an intro video and a video on coffee and working out.
