I have an I-roast and many times when I finish my roast I still have chaff in the crack (like an earlier post). The most recent roast I was at first crack in about five minutes and second crack at 8 and a half minutes. I am wondering if the beans are not expanding enough during the roasting...
I've seen several references to the roasters guild forum and I have registered there and for several weeks, I have been unable to get into the bulletin boards. Is anyone aware of similar problems with the site?

Have I truly reached coffee grinding nirvana with this machine? Like an earlier post, I don't do espresso, so this is primarily for drip (chemex). Is it worth the extra money or should I settle with the Rancilio Rocky?

I suppose this has probably been a well posted topic, but I am in the market for a quality coffee grinder. I am not an espresso man, yet. I use a Chemex brewer and love it.
Are there any recomendations on what grinder to get?
