Looking for feedback on where to find funding. SBA seems to be the first place to start, but I've heard mixed reviews about working with the SBA.
The money needed, as we see it now, are around $150K - $200K. Very large place with the needed renovations and about a year worth of working...
The place I'm trying to open will offer beer/wine as well as espresso drinks. I expect the shop to be very coffee-centric in the morning and more beer/wine-centric in the evening.
I'm curious if anyone else here does that?
There are a couple coffee shops here in Houston that offer "power drinks" similar to that of Smoothie King. Protein based frozen drinks, usually with a ton of flavored syrups and fruit. These are a dollar or two more than a latte and seem to be more popular than I'd expect.
